I have just made a makeshift spray booth in a shed that we dont use and are going to replace as its falling apart.

I covered the walls, roof and floor with black plastic, the window i covered with clear plastic.

Is there anything else i need to add to make this a good area to spray in?

make the best of you have mate. ive done it in worse and still had good results. its all in the prep and give it time to dry.

What paint you using? whatever your using get a good mask and a extractor fan is a must really if using 2k paint , or leave the door open and dont stay in there

I have a mask,

Silverline 28 day half mask

Using Jawel paint Ford Focus RS Orange with 2k Laquear.

All panels have been sanded with 2000grit paper.

Going to paint orange, leave to dry, pearl, leave to dry, laquear, leave to dry, sand with 2000 grit, then G3 on a drill mop pad and then wax with a wool mop head

Years ago when I painted a few cars I used to use a car radiator fan and cowl as an extractor, just cut a hole in the shed and screw it in, attach to a 12v power source and jobs a goodun!

Got a hole (there is a missing window its that terrible lol)

Just aint got a spare fan

Go to your local scrapyard, and have a nose. should be able to get one for less than a tenner!

didnt think to think about a scrapyard lol

dont forget to dampen the floor as the dust will destroy any paint, i used thick polyethene on wooden frame, i have a 3M super fine filter mask, i also have a 3kw convector heater,

but as said before its all in the prep, and laquer and most importantly dry time then polish/mop/wax!
