Has anyone converted the NC21/24 rear end? What to?
I'm looking at a new fairing kit from Skidmarx but it looks as though they only do the front fairings.
I thought maybe twin LED tail light R6 or RSV Mille rear plastics? What do you guys think? Feasable?

I`ve done a conversion for my nc30,the back end is from R1 but it seems everyone on here hates it.
At the end of the day if you like it the way it looks do it but there is shit loads of work.
Good Luck

If it fits over the subframe then it's pretty straight forward to fit anything.
Just use some alloy bar as brackets, cut some light holes, bolt it up and good to go.
I think the biggest issue will be finding a good looking rear end that will suit the front fairing - square and pointy it aint!

I think also the tail angle will have to be considered so it runs at the same angle as the can. Otherwise it'll look shit IMHO.
Gonna have to do a bit of head scratching and doodling.

leave it standard!
it's an iconic 80's look for an 80's bike.
It's like this.
to this...
Really good job of making the unit fit but I prefer the original look
....Standard :D (I think a lot of people on here like factory spec bikes)

If the back end wouldn`t sit so high it may actually look good, but it looks really wrong when you look at the exhaust and the back end, that`s the thing I was struggling with my conversion.

I agree with neosophist, a lot of members on here do prefer a standard/standard looking bike. But it is all down to what look your wanting. Ive just turned 20 so the original look doesnt appeal very much to me... I think an r6 back end would look good. Go for it..
