i feel an old enough member to know the answer to this...

modification is required to fit the front, but its best if you fit the clock bracket from the 600.. this means changing your clocks because theyre too big to fit. (unless they do but its super tight, easier to replace).

also, if you wish to fit the tank cover, modification of the orignal tank is required to make the cover fit.. if you wish use the orignal tank, you need to make your own fibreglass infills..

you can also go to the extend to fitting the swingarm from the 600 if you wish to fit the underseat zaust.. you will need to make some brackets to accomodate the side panels and i think you have to cut off a few and fit a few brackets to the subframe to fit the rear end ...

anything else?

i used the clock bracket from the 600 whichwas mounted to the 400 headlight bracket, which was cut down. the rear was bolted down with pipe spacers, seat screwed to subframe, tank was hit lots and lots with BIG hammer to fit under the cover but if i did it again i would paint the 400 tank.

ive seen some done with the 400 tank, i dont think it looks so good because of the retro style of the tank...

you should fibreglass a mould to fit from tank to petrol cap
