being totally thick here but my cbr400 has finally run out of petrol ( full when i bought it ) but as the bike may be standing a while now whilst repairs are undertaken i still want to keep petrolin it but I have read it has a "shelf life " is this correct , and these dont need no additives do they - just straight unleaded.

They run on unleaded and they r 4 stroke
Do check the bike oil and coolant ect ect
