Just bought a '29 back wheel fitted with a '090 off ebay, looking to slot this in my '23 laters, no hurry...
What will I need? It has the sprocket carrier but no sprocket, axle or spacers, will the '23 axle & spacers fit? :geek:

you will need nc29 spacers, sprocket and disc, thats it. you may need to rind the calipre bracket slightly, i didnt need to on mine but i know others that have. Graeme France usually has all the bits if you need them

Can be a pain in the arse to get the wheel in as it's a bloody tight fit. Mine is anyway.

Cool! Anyone have a spare set of spacers & a rear disc?
Is the '29 front wheel the same deal, just change spacers etc?

I'm using the NC23 caliper bracket, but that could be why it's a tight fit. As well as the two dimples I also filed down the circular raised part on the LHS of the bracket behind where the caliper bolt attaches.

Marvellous! V.helpful, guys!

Has anyone got the dimensions for the NC29 spacers, any pics etc? I have a spare '23 back wheel which has the bearings & spacers out, many be able to modify those...

Having a slight problem with my rear wheel swap..

Its been in for a good 3000 miles however over the last 2000 I heard a clunking noise which I thought was due to the chain and sprockets.. They have now been replaced and noticed I had a bit of play in what I thought was the bearings..

When taking the bearings out one side was tricky like usual and the other just flopped out with very little pressure..

When installing a new bearing I found that it just slipped straight in easily.. Somethings not right here?? Couldnt see any cracks on the wheel at all..

New tyre going on tomorrow so will see what the bike shop says.. :peace:
