Hiya, looking for a new shock, mine is original & Not At Its Best anymore....

Been looking at Hagon - @ £295 not cheap but good quality & tunabilty, or fitting a 600 shock? Hav heard a few snippets about this & have tried a search but couldnt find anything relevent, can anybody list the advantages of this please?

My NC23 has got a hagon fitted and no complaints....miles better than stock worn out item

I fitted a 600 shock to mine using a GF linkage. It raises the rear a bit. Handles a treat...

Cool, thanks for your replys! Have messaged GF, have a plot underway... Am I right in thinking the 600 shock gives you a steeper headangle due to it being a longer shock?

P.S where the hell does the 600 shock reservoir go??

As I understand it yes, thats how it goes, and as others have said here, the bikes handles a treat, well worth doing.

As for the shock res. Ive got mine cable tied to the exhaust hanger, not high tech, but works well enough. (doesnt get hot because of mega pretty carbon gf can hehehe)

The '600 shocks I have been looking at have a reservoir that sticks out at 90deg to the rest of the shock?

You can use a nc29 17" rear wheel to bring it back down slightly like I have done.

The res on mine is cable tied to the rear sub frame out of sight.

If your going to do this mod make sure you get some penetrating spray as the bolts on the shock linkage are a pain in the arse!
