CBR600RR front end swap

Hi,
I've been reading posts and trying to get my head around what it takes to swap the stock NC29 front end for a fancy USD one from the CBR6, and have a few questions I was hoping someone wiser than me could answer.

I see Parus has swapped his for an 08/09 setup, what's the difference between this and the earlier ones from what, around 2005 to 2007(?) (other than colour). Would an earlier wheel fit the later forks? Do earlier discs fit later wheels? Are the radial calipers interchangeable?

Alternatively, the option I most want to pursue, is it possible to use the NC29 wheel on CBR600 USD forks along with the radial calipers? I guess the spacing is all screwed, but say I found someone able to machine custom discs, would it be possible to make discs to fit my NC29 wheel into CBR600RR09 forks and use radial calipers? That would make me so happy...

Sorry for the noobish questions. Maybe I should just walk into a dealer with a tape measure

I think the 07/08 forks are the same as the 05/06 ones. 09/10 are possibly the same too.

I do think that all front ends from CBR900 till CBR600 2009 will fit to our lovely NC29.
Would an earlier wheel fit the later forks?
Not sure wheels are interchangable, because im many case mounting, spacers are different.
Do earlier discs fit later wheels?
This is depend of the model.
Are the radial calipers interchangeable?
In many case yes, I was planning to use R1 from 2000 - 2007 calipers with CBR600 forks, because R1 calipers are lighter about 500grams.

Not sure, to be opened everything is possible, but how much it cost to fit. Disk are smaller on NC29 - 296mm, arainst CBR900 - 310mm. And mounting holes are different.

Buy RVF400 forks with yokes and calipers - all other will fit. It's easy to find NC35 in UK, because in Ukraine it's quite rare and that's why I use CBR600 front end.

Cheers guys and thanks for the details Parus, you're bike is one that inspired me to update my own.

Won't NC35 forks be sprung too soft for me, just like my NC29 ones? (I'm 180lbs and I thought the NCs were set up for 130lb Japanese guys)

I guess upgrading the springs in NC35 forks is going to be cheaper than buying a whole CBR600RR front end, including wheel.

Do the NC35 front forks and yokes fit straight on an NC23?

Since NC35 forks fit the NC29, I assume they have the same or similar enough lengths. NC29 forks do not fit the NC23 since the NC29 forks are too short. This would lead me to assume that NC35 forks would also be too short for the NC23.

Here's another question - assuming that NC30 forks are the same/similar lengths to NC29/NC35 forks and therefore too short for the NC23, is there any reason why you couldn't fit the NC30 fork lowers to the NC23 fork tubes?

I'm pretty sure that you can fit the 30 fork lowers to the 23....and this enables you to fit some decent calipers ;)
