Tyga Maggot vs Tyga Carbon Can

I currently have a stainless can which sounds alright but I want something a bit deeper and louder. I'm considering either a carbon can from Tyga or the maggot. I just took my can off and rode the bike without a can and it was a tiny bit too loud and sounded a bit high-pitched.

Is the tyga maggot as loud as no can, or is it a bit quieter?
Would the tyga maggot produce a deeper sound than no can at all?

What would produce a deeper sound, the maggot or a carbon can? Also, will the maggot be that much louder than a carbon?

Cheers guys!

Hopefully you can access that?

Its the carbon can, I wear earplugs when i ride because of it and probably wouldnt want to go louder. Which ever way you go, getting rid of stock will put a smile on your face.

Oh yeah its bolt on too so you dont have to cut anything like you would with a maggot

Oh yeah i got 59hp  not too bad for a 60000km bike. dyno seems realistic with the numbers as a cbr250 got 37 and a 04 r6 got 107...

Is it for road or track? Not sure what the laws on this are in Aussie but in most places a maggot will be illegaly loud for road use by quite a margin. Anything really loud is just a magnet to the police and, if they want to and look hard enough, they'll give you a ticket for something. Most cops carry decibel meters now and, if you fail a test, you might see you're bike impounded. An illegal pipe could also invalidate you're insurance and is a pain to change for road worthiness testing.
If it's for the track just check local rules but a really loud pipe is annoying and distracting after a while.

Fair enough, mate. The carbon can it will probably be then.

PS: I said no can was a tiny bit loud.. I take that back.. Just got a friend to rev it and I stood 50 metres away and damn it's LOUD!

I'd go for the carbon can. They look good and are plenty loud enough. As Mananon says, a magot will see you pulled over if a cop is having a bad day - $500 fine in NSW too :o That is, if they can catch you ;)

How about just cutting yours down a bit, you can do it a bit at a time till its loud enough then, and wont cost you a penny if you've got a welder.
Cheers

:plus: for the carbon can. I have this system fitted and it sounds ace. It's loud enough to make you worry about your neighbours but it sounds too nice to do anything about it. I've never heard a maggot in person before but imagine its uncomfortably loud. I don't think I could live with it. I've got some vids of my exhaust if you want to see/hear it.

PS get a twin stack if you can. They're twice as nice.
