On a 1996 CB400 super four where abouts is the rectifier? I bought a new one since the bike was playing up and theres nothing like it. Its got 5 pins and is about the size of my palm, the closest thing i can find is a box with around 20 pins found infront of the battery . Cheers

Mine is a 92 superfour so could be different, the box with 20 pins is the ecu not the rectifier.
The rectifier on mine is behind the left hand triangular plastic panel mine is held in place by 2x10mm bolts the wiring loom just plugs into the bottom of it.

Can I ask what made you replace the rectifier? I'm having some issues with my SF at the present. You say the bike was playing up. What were the symptoms?
