Been trying to get these off for the last couple of days they are refusing to budge. do they just slip over the fork tube or are they screwed on or what ? any suggestions welcome. thanks

Lots of heat and then loads of squirty wd40 and then big long lever and turn it back and forth a million times. then whack it with a big hammer from underneath.
