alright guys i need a banjo break light switch for my rear sets , what size is the bolt? iv found them for sale online but i dont know what size i need.

spot on , the rear sets have been sat in the garage for 6 weeks once i get this i can also get my new goodridge hoses on.

i like the idea of this is it ok to use with the standard rear sets and remove the spring and switch?

Yeah it looks a lot cleaner. you will need to pull the wires out of the original connecter and wiggle them back in the banjo one, you might need to cut a little bit of plastic from the connector to get the wires out but its worth the hassle as you keep the standard connectors.

you got one on your kris?
they tolerant to a bit of heat ie without a head shield?
i removed the heat sheild last weekend and made a smaller alloy one just to cover the switch and master cylinder which is just hidden behind the rear set looks slick!

I dont run a heatsheild on any of my bikes, they look horrible. just position the banjo wire on the outside of the frame. When you fit it you will see the banjo rubber joint kinda buts up against the frame so just run the wire over the frame where the two holes are for accessing the rear shock.

I havent been running a rear brake light switch for the past few weeks. I normally only use my rear brake in conjunction with front so haven't been too desperate to fit my banjo switch
