Steering damper mounting

Is there a specific steering damper mounting kit available fro the 3TJ?

I've seen a damper mounting on a track bike and it was via the fork leg and a bracket rivetted to teh frame. It looked a bit rickety, so was wondering if there is a better way.

Going to Oulton on the hybrid next month and last time out had the bars waggling a lot over the crests, so wnt to fit a damper before then.

Thanks

the frame i have for the race bike uses threaded holes, a bit like riv nuts into the frame to attach the damper to, better than rivets!just a bit expensive for the kit to do a couple of holes! I have see the fairing mount bracket on either side of the frame at the top used to fix the damper too aswell, though i never got on with a damper on mine.

I've never felt the need for a damper but it's a hybrid and at Oulton shakes it's head over hilltop, so I have been backing off.

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and keep it pinned.
