Right been out tonight for another good ride! But the last two times ive been ou ive encountered a problem. Same thing has happened twice. Whilst im going full tilt in 6th at around 9 to 10 k revs i have a huge flat spot!! its obviously really noticeable as your riding quite fast. when i pick up the speed slowly its less noticeable!

Im running a ignitech cdi plus 2 standard map, RO road needles ,120 dynojets all round, drilled slides, a full Ethos system with Mercury twin stack!! any ideas?? only thing i can think of is upping the jets to 122's

any advice would be appreciated!!

Yeah, sounds lean. If it's that noticeable I would go for 124's.

What sort of filter are you using??

Its a standard filter , was thinking of upping to 122;s when i first set it up, but you reckon 124's?

My money would be on your carb rubbers not sealed properly.

If the leanness is that noticeable it needs quite a change in jet size, hence not much point in trying 1 size extra (122's) I would say go a bit further, it certainly won't hurt anything (power or economy etc).

I use 124's on my roadbike, standard filter, slight induction changes and it pulls like a train. Lower jet sizes were too lean. General info would say fit something smaller, but they were too lean. The mystery of the nc30...
