Selling Up :( How much is it worth?

Well, I've decided it's time to start thinking about moving on. I've been plowing money into this little NC23 of mine and I'm not going to get anything back, as a student that's a pretty stupid idea.

So, the question for you guys is... How much is it worth?

I got the right ingredients for a nice bike. Just needs a good scrub and a good paint job.
Racetech fork springs with pre-load adjustable cap,
VFR four pot callipers (which have been sooo good, I would recommend them),
CBR600 F3 shock (think it's the F3, I'll check in a bit),
Tyga T9 bodykit.

Erm, other little bits like friction and steel plates were renewed not too long ago, I'm pretty ridiculous when it comes to oil changes. Change it so often. Oil filters are changed with every oil change and also bought a new air and fuel filter not too long ago either. I have quite a few spares knocking about, but was thinking of selling those individually.

Now the nasty bits. Wheels and fork bottoms need powder coating and the fairing need spraying. I was thinking of using that as a selling point :o by saying the buyer could style it how ever they liked. Dunno how many people that'll fool though. Erm, that's about it really. Probably get it spraye before I sell it, would have to be some shitty work though which is a shame on the tyga kit. Oh, chain and sprockets are in dire need of renewal. I'm gonna have to todo that anyway.

I haven't ridden it since April cos I've had my licence revoked but I'm re-doing my test on Monday so hoopefully will be back out on it till the end of August. But then it's gotta go :( Really don't wanna sell it. Had some huge plan to do loooads of engine work (as I study motorcycle engineering, I would be able to use it for my uni project under the watchful eye of my brainy lecturers). Compression, cam timing, porting the lot really. And had a super cool idea for a paint job (I'm keeping that top secret till I get my self another four, it's that awesome).

Erm, so yeah. Any advise or ideas would be awesome.

Nonsense  Ive put more money into my bike than I have my local pub, despite the fact if I sell it, il get nearly none of it back, Ive somehow decided its worth it. :P

I've seen your bike in Swansea, and at Pembrey actually (stalker!).
Have you got NC30 fork sliders for the calipers?

Trust me I'd love to. I think it's so completely worth it to, just I'm gonna have to do it when I'm a little older, a little wiser and a little richer. I'll still be tinkering with a 400 though. VFR NC30, got 2 at my uni which they're gonna let us go to town on. Build a race engine after modelling it in Ricardo Wave, lot's of carbon fibre as we have an auto clave. Carbon tank which we'll put the electrics in. I think they want to make a structural carbon seat unit, so as to do away with the subframe (which is already this tiny ally thing one of the fella's welded up). Erm, ZX6R forks, CRF swingarm (to do away with the big heavy single sided thing, it's not actually a lot longer). This thing weighs about 150kg before the carbon parts, and with engine work to come should be cool. And I wont have to pay. :) Oh, marchensini wheels, front wheel is actually of one of the old 500 gp bikes!!! How awesome is my uni!

No sliders, didn't know they did them.

Absolutly piss easy, just a straight swap. Just need to swap the fork bottoms to NC30 ones as the calliper mounting points are different on the 23.

Forgot to add more bad points. The downpipes are rusted to fuck, no holes as of yet. I had a tiny lowside and snapped the top half (dunno how to explain this section, errrm...) of the bit by the screen (can see in the pic) and engine casings have some scuffs from previous owners. coming up to about 21000 miles (was converted from km to miles at about 17000). Few good points, goodridge braided lines all round, beowulf can.

Only pics I have are of my first trackday at Pembrey. Had to pull these off facebook, I'm shit for taking snaps of things.

Here you can see the callipers and rusty downpipes,

There's the snap n bodge,

Just another pic. Bit of the old outbraking, 400 vs. 400.

Fork sliders = fork bottoms, but you've answered that anyway!

You'd make more money by breaking it, have you considered that?
