My engine is overheat veru quickly. I run both stock engine and track engine ( KentCams, ported intakes) and having 20% bigger radiator that stock ones. So, for the stock engine is was fine and engine never overheat, but with this race engine I have troubles. Just wondering - maybe this is due to different timing. Maybe need to increase readitor significantly. Any advide or ideas ?

Dont even use Kent cams for racing.... what gains have you measured? Would be interesting to know as I've tried them, albeit with a heavily skimmed head and they were just a load of trouble... Col

I don't measured power of the engine for now - RLRMotors told it's 74bhp with KentCams. It was prepared for the race - total loss and so on - but 400cc class had been canceled at Ukraine local championship, so bike is mainly use for road purpose.

In anycase I'm not going to sell it... will keep it as result of my technical experiments :))) Going to make injection soon\good telemetrics - and will buy 600cc for the racing.

ha ha,,, wasnt looking to buy it off you, but 74bhp is a nice motor... im still running just about 70bhp and ive done, well David Simon has done what we think is everything to the CBR motor!! We would look into FI as well, but is not allowed with my racing club, so were now working in a couple of new areas to find a few more bhp.
Cheers and good luck with the 600... just make sure its a Honda.. :)

This is not scope of this topic - but for injection we're going to user GSR Throttle bodies (30mm inner diameter) - Jenvey is TOOOOOOOOO expensive and you need injector, TPS - with GSR400 throttle bodies you have already all this stuff, other lile fuel pump, air sensor will be from GSR400 as well, Lamba will be taken from car, because it cheap. The main question is Camshaft sensor - currently only theory how we're going to fabricate it and fit. Will open topic here when start all this stuff...

So, nobody using KentCams, does you ?

We do - no overheating issues even with a standard cleaned rad. - even in the recent hot UK.
