clutch snatching when pulling of.

Hi all can anyone help ? when I pull off on my GSXR 400 gk76a in 1st, the clutch judders or snatches making the wheel spin. gear change in all other gears is nice and smooth. is it some thing to do with the adjustment. thanks Dave

firstly check your oil level. if thats ok could be distorted plates. is it every time you let the clutch out in 1st? any noises from it?

It,s not every time, some times it is ok. there is no noise and oil is fine, Thanks for your help

first thing i would check is the operating part of the clutch. From lever to push rod including adjustment. Then if that doesn't work investigate the plates themselves

Somtimesone of the three bearings falls out of the clutch arm within the left hand case, worth a look.
