NC30 upgrades

I have an NC30 an so far the only upgrades I have done are convert the speedo to MPH and sort out the body work, and put a smaller sprocket on the front a viper race can (because the other one was scratch from being dropped more than any performance benefits). Nothing groudbreaking or important.
It has the original forks and shock on it and I was think a good place to start it there, and some tyres. The rear shock, I can't even adjust the preload it is so stuck and old.
The suspension I want is just something for decent fast road riding and a trackday here and there. Not looking for the most expensive racing setup or anything. I was thinking a shock refurb for the back, it's 100 quid from a guy on ebay, you send it down and he...well heres a link.

And for the front forks I don't know. In total I only have about 2-3hundred to play with and I know this isn't much for suspension.
Basically does the refud look decent? If not what should I do? And what about the front?
Any other tips after suspension?
Cheers
