It was my first 'big bike' at 17 and I've not seen it for 8 years and was just wondering if anyone knows of it's whereabouts or even if it's still running.

It's reg was H257VVG.

I think it got broken - I saw fairings like that on e-bay, unless there was another with the same colour scheme

i saw one for sale like that on ebay about 4-5 months ago it had yellow mirrors and a blue screen and a spanish flag where the renthat sticker is.
may have been that one.

Would be nice to think it hadnt been broken up, tried the DVLA route to contact the current owner and they said not possible, will keep an eye out if it ever comes up for sale again, its the only one out of all the bikes i've had thats I didnt keep, looking back I shouldnt have sold it !

I thought you could trace the owner by asking at the Post Office saying you had an accident and didn't get their details.

Or ask a friendly policeman.

Or buy an equally nice 3TJ with standard paint until you (hopefully) spot your old one

The DVLA actually show it as 'SORN not due', so it is still around (at least the frame is) as someone has gone to the trouble of signing a SORN declaration. But it's not on the road.

Hi my 3TJ is in the same colours but the REG is not the same so don't think its yours
