I need to have the head bearings replaced on my bike and also get an MOT done. Does anybody know of a decent bike garage in the Sutton or Kingston area?

Only places i've managed to find at the moment via a google search are either Dobles (know their good as i bought a bike off them but think they would be pretty pricey) or Hartgate Motorcycles.

Anyone else got any other suggestions of where to go?

Tippetts Honda in Tolworth/ Surbiton. Nice folk in there, very helpful.
Only other I've used (non Honda) is Chessington motorcycles, good price for batteries!

I use Sunami http://www.sunami.co.uk/12675/index.htm for MOTing purposes, can't comment on their workshop facilities as I do my own stuff, but they always seem reasonable and decent people to deal with.

I'm in Staines and had good MOT experiences at Black Dog (Staines), Rose MOT (Sunbury Cross) and W London Yamaha (Twickenham).

Not used any for workshop stuff though.

I use 'City bike service' based n the city... (5 min walk from liverpool street station) Maybe too far away for you but came off a recommendation and always go there now. I don't much of a clue when it comes to mechanics but my experiances have been good & I would trust them completely. The main guy that runs it has had loads of experiance with the RVF & VFR's so even better.
