Any suggestions of an off the shelf product for cleaning up footrests and bracketing?
Mine have started to show a lot of "furring" and weathering.

you cant go wrong with autosol. Sold in a tube. Only problem is once you start and see the results, its difficult to stop!

Bought a polishing wheel off ebay a couple of years ago. It came with brown and blue lumps of polishing stuff. Sorry to be vague but typically I threw away the instructions and now use both with very good results. Paid about £10.

I bought my first tube of Autosol yesterday and I love the stuff. Its almost like magic.
Im thinking about polishing up my exhaust pipes as well with it when I get the time. I've seen many do this and I think it looks great but is it really worth having? Whats it like for maintenance and doesn't the metal rust quickly without a coating?
Sorry for the hijack

Autosol is the best. Can`t go wrong. But I preffer to laquer over the top because you`ll use autosol every 2-3 weeks.

Autosol is good but beware when using a lot on chrome,it will wear away the finish.
