Can anyoune let me know what the differences are between the mc17 & 19 engines.

Let me begin with, I'm no expert but...

Looking just at the part numbers there are differences between the MC17 (CBR250RH) and MC19 (CBR250RJ/RK) though the layout of the engine is the same. They share part numbers between each other and the MC14 (CBR250FG/FG-YA) but they are also differences. Now I don't know what these differences are its quite possible that the parts were modified, superseded, or the supplier changed but they all share the same microfiche. At a glance the differences look mainly cosmetic.

Thats all I know from a technical standpoint, hope it helps. If your after differences in power, performance, or feel then hopefully someone else could help as I've never ridden one. You may be able to find some more information on the tinterweb, I remember stumbling across a site with some CBR250 stuff on it many years ago but can't remember its address. Any chances of a pic of yours at the CBR250 is quite a rarity?
