Svedberg's RVF Race bike

Oh, Lord, thank you for finally letting me find a radiator to suit the project race bike. This one's huge, and best of all, it actually fits inside the fairing, doesn't hit the header pipes or the front tire even under full fork compression. I am truly grateful, and will now continue this quest for RVF track bike nirvana...

Through pure luck (and a LOT of stubbornness!) I got in touch with a radiator company in Italy. I started emailing the sales representative, and finally she agreed to sell directly to me, without the ever present middle man taking three times as much as the actual item's worth.

If there's interest here, more can be had. Although, now I would act the middle man... ;)

They look smart. Have you changed the flow through them too?

Yes. The Rick O main rad has been altered to have the outlet on the left hand side only (increased in size), and the lower has a left in/right out configuration. To me this setup makes the most sense, forcing all coolant to actually pass through the cores of the rads, rather than just flow through the side tank.

I agree mate - I will be modding my new rad when I get it back form the revoring place. I will chop off the old inlets and chemical metal it up.

any more pics from the rear to show thickness etc?

from what i can see bike looks very bling. think your mad sticking all those parts on a track bike though. i would cry like a little girl for a month if i dropped my radial caliperd, carbon front guard and fancy rads RVF :o

so is it just for track or you racing the bike proper?

get more pics up. its looking good :D

This project bike was on the old forum, and it's being developed ever so slowly. I'm quickly reaching the very bottom of my pockets here, but I figure I might as well keep doing it the way I intended, even if it means it's going to be expensive and take a long time.

The plan is for it to be a track only bike. Regarding the issue of crashing it, I simply set my mind on the fact that it's possible, even probable for it to happen, and I just try to be happy if the damage done is only to the bike and not myself ;)

By the way, does anybody know which brand of exhaust is on my bike?
