Do you have a haynes manual?
If not, it might be covered in detail in the UK workshop manual:
http://www.akhara.com/nc30/nc30manuals/ ... op_Manual/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Easy job, but takes a little bit of time.

It is easy - get a mate to help whe you pull them apart...it takes some good yanking!!

As mark says, actually pulling them appart is the only hard bit. Good vice (with soft jaw clamps) and a sturdy bench, or a willing mate and you should be fine.
Without doubt the best upgrade available for the money

Vice!!? Eat your weetabix laddie
Once all the bolts / oil are out I slide the stanchion as much as possible into the leg and just give it a good pull apart and all the gubbins etc come out along with the fork tube!
Having somone hold the leg might help if your struggling though :) just let them know you are going to be pulling it fairly hard and they should be prepared, otherwise you might just pull it right out of their hands
