Hi, anyone know what jetting works on a 600 hybrid. Mines on open carbs at the moment with 145 mains std I think and wont pull through the rev range as it leans of when you crack the throttle. Anyone running individual filters and know what main jets they have in?

is it for a race bike or for the road?if its for the road where youll need some midrange unless you ride flat out everwhere

dont bother with filters-they are an absolute BASTARD to get right, unless you have access to a dyno of course and are prepared to spend some cash.even the hybrid race bikes ive seen use some sort of airbox to get the fuelling right.the only one ive seen using filters was using 190 main jets and alot of time trying to get it right-it went like stink but had little midrange.hybrids using airboxes still kick out anywhere between 85-95bhp and the gains with the filters at the top are at the expense of driveability.but if you want some t/cat 4jh k&n filters ive got a brand new pair that i fitted while i sent myself crazy trying to jet my hybrid properly.the two filters are as new(one filter goes over a pair of carb each) but you have to remove the intake trumpets on the carbs.for your sanitys sake look at fzr tims hybrid build and look at how he modded his airbox-it works.on the other hand if you manage to get it right-post it up here!

ps 4jh/t/cat standard jetsare 118-and 120 if i remember right- ill go and check

Mine has 3TJ airbox melted corners to fit, no snorkel and a 70mm hole below the filter removed to get air in through to the bottom of the filter.
#42 pilot jets
Dynojet mains & main air jet blanked (carbs were dynojettd when I got them).
It was the pilot jets that sorted my cracked throtte lean-ness. There's a place in New Zealand I got 4 jets for about £12 delivered in a week.
I tried it without the airbox and it was horrible.
It's a bit peaky but between 6,000 and 13,000 it stays with the inters trackday group on the straights and it's a hooligan tool on the road.
