Hi. I have looked at the paint code thread, but im not sure which one of the colours it is.

I need to buy the blue/purple? on the nose cone, that carrys onto the fairings. Its the only blue part of the bike, and its a sticker.

I had an extremely stupid accident yesturday, which resulted in a huge crack on my nose cone

I need to get mine reapired or buy an undamaged honda one and get it sprayed.

Could any one point me in the right direction for the colour i need?

That's why there's no paint code!

The best thing to do would be to take it to a paint shop for matching.

or just get the right decal

I think my NC30 is the same type and after checking out various paint shops linked from these forums (http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en/colours.php, http://www.motorradlack.de/) I planned to paint it with Uranus Violet P-9.

Light Blue: Wistaria Blue PB166
Dark Blue: Seychell Night Blue PB186 * Sticker only on O.E.

I can order both from rs bike paint but still not sure which one, and i dont want to get it wrong because they paint isnt cheap!
Im thinking more of the Dark Blue, but it doesnt look particularly dark.

It's neither... those colours are listed under a VFR400R-L model, yours is a VFR400R-N colour scheme (to confuse things even further it looks like an early K model bike...).

Can you not just order a new sticker??

I'm sure someone could make a good copy, or get the paint matched by a pro.

finding a good original nose cone in the right colour scheme would be best, but never going to happen

might just have to try get it matched as best i can.

Contact Brooky, not sure how well he canmatch colours but some of his other work is very impressive.

This has probably been solved already, but i went to a specialist paint shop with my mid fairing in the same scheme! Its paint on the mid, not a sticker so it does have a paint code! Interestingly enough, iirc it is honda NH196 (the same as the white). I found this odd, but apparently they code several colours that are used for the same scheme with the same paint number! I still have the can at home so if i remember ill check it tonight!

Edit: I checked this over the weekend... the blue is: Honda moto blue NH196.
