pity he cant show us this mystical HRC marking

HRC mufflers of that era generally don't have any marking/branding on them, but that is no HRC can!

It does say HRC on it though! but i know what you mean!!

MR8K tends to mean it is a standard part not a HRC item HRC stuff has a differnt designation

Hopefully the guy's dad didn't use to work at the factory and saw this exact same can come off the production line...
otherwise that'll be another apology to an ebay member.

HRC parts are all NF2 (Well at least for the 24, i'd assume the 30/35 follows suit)

It's just a standard can with a slipon adapter fitted, lots of manufacturers used to bundle one with their systems, especially the louder systems so you could easily re-fit your standard can (for mot's etc)
