Im systematically checking everything on my bike (1995 Super Four) to get it ready for the summer bike season.
Has anyone done their valve clearances?
Im trying to find out whats involved, how long it takes etc etc
Any help is gratefully accepted!
Frank.

Hi Frank,
I never done valve clearances on the inline four. I have a manual of my CB400 1997-98 with pictures and numbers. Descriptions all in Japanese. The clearances in my manual:
In: 0.15 +/-0.03 mm
Out: 0.22 +/- 0.03 mm
I'm missing the method to adjust the rockers in case the clearances are out of spec.
Cheers, Mansie

I'm struggling to find the definitive answer to valve clearance settings for my 1993 400 Super Four. I have seen figures between 0.08mm for both inlet and exhaust to 0.15mm inlet and 0.22 exhaust set when cold. Can anyone please confirm if either of these is correct or provide the true figure(s) if they're not ? Thanks.

Dont suppose anyone knows this? Looking for info for a nc23 stamped engine on an early cb400 superfour. Cheers
