Hello, just a quick question. Is it necessary to buy the clamps when replacing the seals, or will a jubilee clip do? Anybody found them any cheaper than David Silver's?

Cheers.

The ones underneath the engine, where the front headers meet the rest of the system. They're apparently very prone to rotting/blowing.

Are you fitting std seals to std pipes or are these aftermarket jobbies?

The chances are the pipes are fecked if the clamps are too.

The only mild steel section on a stainless pipe....the bloody clamps.

If you are fitting a half system then you prob won't need the gaskets or any clamps- they'll be a tight interference fit....or they have been on every one of my systems I've had in the past. ;)

Standard system. Shall I just have done with it and weld them?
