Just a quick one guys - hoping to do a refurb on my forks, the front wheel is out so I thought why not!
Is there anything I need to look/watch out for and which seals do I need to replace??
Also painting the front inner part of the disk, does it require any special paint or just your bog standard stuff....
Many thanks as always

if you wanna do a complete overhaul on them you req top and bottom bushes, fork oil seal and dust seal each leg parts available from david silver or you could try rick oliver on here and if you really want to improve your forks one of ricks upgrade kits which include race spec suspension fluid new springs spacers and a measuring syringe for accurate oil level , a worthwhile improvement mod best £80 you could spend on your bike imo.

i have my discs bead-blasted & then the inners either powder-coated or wet sprayed depending on what colour i go for.
if you have them powder-coated / wet sprayed or even paint them your self, just remember to get the stainless rivets masked up, as they move with disc & if you painted them, they'll crack open & the paint will peel from those points.
i pay £20 - £30 a pair to have them done for me, (wet spraying costs more) & you'll spend about £20 on some good hammerite spray paint, sand paper & masking tape.
i have done them for bikes im selling with brush on smooth finish hammerite & they come out looking good but not good enough for my own bikes.
