Hi all
Just looking at converting the front end of my race bike + am thinking about ohlins forks
Ive thought about going down the usual + simple route of RVF forks but i dont realy want to follow everyone else so im now thinking about a pair of these
Just wondering what people think + whether there are any benefits with these instead of RVF forks except from the radial calipers?
I know it will be a bit of work + am more than capable of it just wondering what people think
They would also look the dogs danglies
Cheers all
James

They would look stunning, Could possibly fit with a ducati fitting kit a member on here named riley makes. 748,998 model forks work so im sure these will. you could just get a set of yokes custom made, theres a member on here that does that too.

Fitting kit sounds interesting
Yea i remember seeing the thread g force started regarding custom yokes, think he said they work out at £600 + can be done to whatever we need
Ive pm'd gavin at jap4 to see if theres anything he can supply
Ive just seen a set of duke forks go for over a grand on ebay where these aprillia jobbies are anywhere between £500 - £750, so they are cheaper + 05 > have radial calipers :)
Ive also started working with carbon fibre + designing a complete Carbon seat unit which could eliminate the subframe, therefor the whole rear would be just carbon although it may need a couple of ally plates to reinforce the mounts, we will see
Realy wanting them forks though

Yeah G-Force do yokes and theres also another guy, cant remember his name but i'll find it for you. Price works out about £280 i think and im sure he can do them to any spec you want. Wheel choice might be a issue as aprillia wheels dont suit NC's but you could maybe still fit the NC wheel with some work. id personally go the ducati route and use the 3 spoke front and a dymag rear

If you could find out that would be great
I will use the nc wheel as i have 2 front dymags already, 2 nc23 wheels + 4 nc30 wheels, ill make up spacers for the front wheel + if needed can always get some made to move the disc out slightly
Anyone know how big the aprilia discs are?
Trying to find a dymag rear at the moment, not easy though
