Hi guys,

I have a CB400 SFY HyperVTEC. I bought a new CDI for it but still doesn't startup. However if I try using a CDI from a non-VTEC cb400, it starts and runs fine, sans the VTEC engaging.

What could be the problem here?

mo experience of vtec engines at all but am guessing thered be a camshaft sensor communicating with cdi/ecu, maybe its not speaking to it properly and starts ok on standard cdi as that feature doesnt exist?
