Fitting a slip on exhaust

Hey peeps.Just bought myself a nc30 and i am restoring it through summer but i have just bought a scorpion slip on exhaust and cant see how to fit it.i dont seem to have a joint where i can seperate the standard one.do i have to cut the weld or is there another way?cheers

On mine, I have a link pipe from the downpipes, then that goes up to the exhaust hanger and then there's another pipe, to put a angle then thats connected to the stubby end can.

You kind of get the idea from this picture.

For yours you will just just need some form of link pipe, take the measurements of the diameter of the pipes then have a scoot about on the internet.

if its going on a stock nc30 exhaust you will need to cut the old can off somewhere between the weld at the can/pipe joint and the lower heatshield depending on the length of the scorpion can and link pipe if it uses one :?: in any case get a good quality blade as cutting s/s wears the blade out . the old saying measure twice cut once springs to mind :idea: ;)
