Aussie racers fibreglass tank cover and alloy tanks anybody?

I'm getting a bit jack of having to bog the tank on my NC29 everytime it falls over. I know the answer is to stop crashing, but the last 2 crashes I've been taken out!

Last week I visited a few local workshops and if I get 6 orders I can get fibreglass tank covers for about $200 ( the cost of making the mold is the problem here) and a 10 litre alloy tank for about $250 but you will need a billet alloy filler with this. Shipping would be additional to this.

I might be able to sell a few up here as well.

Is anybody interested?

Matt

That looks to be a pretty good price Matt, but I'm planning to make my own bits at this stage rather than fork out extra $$.

Don't rightly know Stimp but will check it out. Who should I ask? Harley B?

If you can change the rest of the body work I don't see why not. For our club rules it is legal as long as the bike is over a minimum weight.

Yep that's how I interpret the 400 F3 rules.

I'm skint, but would love to buy these instead of having to hack something crap up.
