ram air tubes

Do those little air ram tube things really do anything,they did on my blackbird but only over 100+

On the NC29? Nope. If you are talking about the placcy bits on the side all the do is throw a smidge of cool air onto the float bowls and back of the engine.
It's just there to make the japanese go ohhhh and ahhhhhh back in the day when it was made.

Antipeculation cools float bowls too stop the fuel boiling in the carb.
They use fans on Renault 5 Turbos and Fiat X1/9's for this.

on the NC29s they are pure Aesthetics. the real air inlets are just behind the headstock, under the frame.

mind you, if you inserted a tube and curved it round and in to the air box as ram air.. would they work then?
or just not a do-able idea..

so 80 quid for carbon fiber ones is a bit mad then(since that is a quarter of what the bike cost),ahh, what inventive ways to waste your money there is
