Is it restricted?
This may be a daft question but how do I tell of my NC29 is restricted or not
? Is there something I should look for to see? I have only had the bike a few days so its all a bit new to me. Cheers

Re: Is it restricted?
erm prob the best way would be to take off the carbs and look to see if there are washers in the rubbers underneath

Re: Is it restricted?
welcome to the site.... and the bike.
i'll be honest with you m8. you've only just got the bike.. id not worry about it being restricted just yet. you need to figure out how to ride the bike its self 1st!
After a few weeks when you have ridden it more you'll have a better idea if its restricted or not.

Re: Is it restricted?
id agree with LP and i probably wouldnt go straight out and find its top speed. for the record i had mine restricted and it did 115 mph (genuine F1 extortionate prices paid), without id only get 125(130 with a tail wind) anywaysleopard_pagan wrote:welcome to the site.... and the bike.

The restriction restricts acceleration more than it does speed.

Re: Is it restricted?
I agree with LP - get used to it and don't worry about the speed.
Mine was restricted and it did just about 100 mph down the motorway as very top speed but 130 mph before restriction.
