Clock De-restriction

Been searching on this and haven't really found out a clear way to do it, don't really wanna buy a mph/kmh converter, so is there a way you can just disabling it, cutting a wire or something? Has anyone got a guide or anything relating to the disc mod thing in the back of the clock? Cheers

take the clocks apart and pull the little tab off the rotating disc and your done.

If you take the clocks apart, rotate the needle to 180k you can see the tab on the disc make conact between two sensors, this is the little disc, just wobble it about until it snaps ok and your done.

leave everythign else connected

i would buy a motrax converter to be honest. Sorts the derestriction out and you can calculate your mph without looking twice at an unclear overlay!! They are accurate too!!

Cheers for that :) I rarely use my speedo, I find it easer to work it out via the rpm/gear

Then just unplug your speedo cable, problem solved ;)

The clock mod isn't difficult at all, the knob that resets the tripometer has a little philips screw in the end of it, it doesn't just pull out.
