What fork tubes

What a way to end the season, took the bike to a practice day just to get a bit of riding in, and crashed 1.5 laps into the day twisting the whole front end, clamps, axle, the lot.

Anyone know if there are any interchangeable forktubes as all mine are f**ked.

Not a good way to end the year and have in my head at the start of next.

Thanks for the news flash...I can use nc29 fork tubes in my nc29 forks.

What I really need to know is are there any interchangeable ones? Cb400, nsr or cbr250?

I'm going to need to buy some.

All of them is shorter - I believe you can use CB400\CBR400(both NC23\NC29) tubes. If you like I can send you file with tube length for many model and you can check - here is link to this file http://www.moto.kiev.ua/users/parus/brakediscs.pdf. The CB400 is longer but you can use longer spacing collar.

PS: Maybe better to change to cbr600rr. I almost sure NC29 wheel fit to 600rr USD forks only with different spacers.

Everyone seems to forget the damper rod length internally also varies in length - thus varying the built up fork length.

Plus the Honda 400 family fork tubes have differeing oil control holes in the bottom - as do the damper rods.

The NC23 Tri Arm fork when fitted with a new linear spring kit / pre load adjusters from the NC29 / NC30 and subject to a thorough service take some beating.

When building just be careful it all works together.

Well I figured as much, and seeing as our rules don't let us change fork outers, i'll get all my bent ones straightened.

I've amassed a nice pile of bent forks.
