Wheels, cush drives and sprocket holders...

Hi all,

Am moonlighting in the yammy section as I have an FZR600 3he trackbike and a 1wg frame to rtansplant the kit into it....anyways...I am was going to fit one of my spare wheels to the 600 for a sneakly TD at Angelesy in 2 weeks but when I whipped the rim off I see the cush drive and sprocket holder are not compatible.

I want to know - can I get an FZR400 sprocket holder to take the 600 sprocket and fit to one of my spare wheels?

See the pics - yellow on is the 18*3.5 rim and the black and white rims are spare 400 rims with intact cush drive ubbers but no sprocket holders. Can it be done? or am I pissing in the wind?

When I build my 1wg - http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m38/ ... CF2135.jpg
can I fit one of the spare wheels to fit?

Thanks all, don't tell the Honda crew I am down here....they will lynch me!!

As you've got the 400 and the 600 sproket carriers you can probably check it quite easily. I think the 600 sprokets will fit but I don't want to say for sure.

The 600 wheels will fit the 400 swingarm but you need the brake carrier and I think the calipers are slightly different.

The 400 is a 1987 3EN1 EXUP by the way.

Cheers Boris,

I do not have the 400 sprocket carrier. That one is from the 600.

I will get onto the ebya session and see if I can source one. If not, no worries as I will use the 600 with the skinny tyres for now and kill them off and my TD.

Thanks also for the model info - 3EN1 is 2 lights and two tubes below the lights? I think it will be great when I finally get it sorted out.

I intend to use the white wheels I have for the build so will source a 400 sprocket carrier asap to check it all out.

cheers Evil..

I don't have any bodywork for the bike - it was dressed as a flying banana with pretend R6 bodywork. It is a shed at the minute but will be reborn 8-)

I know you have the info - so any ideas what shocks might fit as the braced swingarm looks prohibitive for any none remote res later model shocks??

would the 3he shock fit for now?

cheers :geek:

only know the 3TJ shock is a long bugger !!! Get the shock out and measure it then have a look around ... I remember a YZF750 shock was about right but not sure whick model it was fitted to
