3tj fork refresh

Firstly, thanks to Chris (lajracing) for his help with oil volumes and other stuff
I've just finished stripping the forks to change the springs and the oil and i couldn't believe how much the standard springs have compressed over time! The picture isn't great but the old springs are over an inch shorter than new ones

I was going to fit some progressive springs but the previous owner gave me a set of new standard springs so to save a bit of cash i decided to use them. Chris advised a change to 500ml of 15wt oil and i must say it certainly 'feels' better but i've not had a chance to go for a ride yet so only time will tell.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has yet to give their forks a service.
Nick.
