Hi lads, I'm getting a full tyga system with single stainless end can on the rvf soon. Just wondering whats the best jet size to go with on all 4 carbs. Everything else on it is standard air box etc. Removed the carbs off it today to give them a good clean for the winter. And there's the standard 108's in all 4. Anyone else have a similar set up. I'm thinking go up to 110's in all 4? What you think, cheers.

Best way to know is to book in some time at a dyno place. Money well spend next to new exhaust system (My RVF has #116 dynojets in all 4 carbs, but it's fitted with an dual can system.

Cheers, just trying to save a few quid and be in the ball park before I book it in for a dyno.

I have a Sp style JHA and I run 110 F and 112.5 R on the Dyno but I run a C needle fist clip, think Micpec is running a TSR system with the pipes changing in diameter but I think you wouldn't be to far of the mark if you 110F/112.5R or 112.5F/112.5R all with
extra 0.5mm shim under the needles. It will take a bit of time but you will get there ;)

Scoops, 108 all round in RVF is standard ;) Why would you go 98 and 100 unless you stuffed a potato down you system ?

Dar: I reckon you'll be in the ballpark if you change them to 112's all round.

From memory this is what the majority of peeps have jetted nc35 carbs to with similar mods.

i would agree with Gee. i have rvf carbs on my bike with a stack and they run the same as my mates rvf and his stack, thats 115's all around.

98/100 would surely be shockingly lean.

Cheers for that! There was an aftermarket system on it that I've now removed which had 108's in all 4. And it looks like it was running rich, end of the spark plugs were black & sooty. I'll go with the 112's and book it in for a dyno. thanks again.

Hi Scoops, that bike you have has the tits tunned off it. Must be something to do with your set up. Did yea get sorted with a shock yet? Its going to feel like an age now before we get back onto the track again.
