I have a nc29 track bike and i love it! Not just for the great handling but also for the sound. Folks who own the vfrs will say exactly the same no dought, so its horses for courses. Cant you do a trackday on your nc30 first and see how you get on?
Chris.

its in road trim stripped at moment, its not been run by previous owner in 6/8mnths so carbs need sorting n i really cant be bothered to be honest i just like setting em up n riding em, rubbish i know but thats me, i,d sooner get shut n get something i can just get on n go ! been offered a poss deal on a nc29 that just needs tidying , plus nc30 is a bit too good to strip and ruin on track, i dont know what to do with it, real turmoil case, it it would have just run when i got it i would love it but ive fell out with it coz i cant be arsed messing !

Hi,in the last 4 years i have ran in formula 400 with new era and emra,i have used a nc30,a gsxr400,a zxr400, 2 nc23's, i still use a nc 23 as my wet bike, and most recently a nc29 built by graeme france, the gsxr and nc30 were standard,suspension/engine etc,the gsxr was crap, very poor engine characteristics, all or nothing power, the nc30 superb and very easy to ride, but in standard trim to slow, the nc23's quicker than both in standard trim, the zxr 400 was an all singing all dancing 78hp bike which i could not ride for love nor money [but obviously alot of people can,and will say it,s just my crap riding style LOL] by far the best is the nc29 [might just be because it has been professionally built] it has 65hp,but after one test day,im 3 seconds quicker than on the zxr400,and a second quicker than my 60hp nc23,s
which i'm very used to riding,i,m 45 and only race for fun,and by no means confess to being
super quick,so after all this rambling,i guess i,m trying to say i like the nc29 best, followed by the nc23,then the nc30 hope some of this helps, steve.
