I'm looking for a cdi unit for a cbr 400 nc23 rg aero. they seem to be like rocking horse chit. David silver cant get them (discontinued stock) so any help please!!!!!!!!!! another prob is if the cdi is smoking and my battery boiled and died would i need a new reg/rect. cheers in desperation

replace the reg/rectifier mate...! seems like it is out of use. and don't forget to check the wiring from the stator coil to the reg/rectifier too.

cheers zul, checked reg./rect. and its part no. appears to be that of a vfr 400. have ordered genuine part now so see how it goes hopefully that was affecting the cdi
