hi without sounding like a complete muppet will an nc35 exhaust fit straight on to an nc30 so i can fit a can without sawin my gud un up? also dos anyone know a good repairer for the rotten bottem sleeves in the yorkshire midlands area? and lastley anyone reliable and trusworthey (or at least know what there doin)in same area to do the valve clearances and the goin rate all the best and thanks

we have a few people on here that will help you out.

A user called RCV4 - based in Yorkshire can sort your collars.

If you are near Sheffield and want to pay me to do your clearances then I'll do it..lol

Or, we can help you get them done yourself...and save a lot of money and feellike a clever sod for sorting it

You are looking at 6 hours labour @ £35-45 from a shop for the clearances...fiver a shim if needed...

Or, do it yourself, takes couple of days if you need any shims and have to buy some in...can be done in a night if the shims you have can be swapped about to juggle the clearances.

Most of us on here would say DO IT!!

I was well worried about fecking mine up and put it off for a year til I got another bike, me and smev did it on that and although smev had checked them before he had never replaced them, we did all but 2 sets of valve in an evening (aswell as rebuilding the forks with new seals) and now I feel very smug

cant wait to get cracking on the roady as I recon they are long overdue

Yes.

I'm with those guys.

Its a simple job if you take your time, however don't do what i did and remove the shims and crank the engine over to check the others, its not a good move

Oh and don't be lazy and not fill the engine with rags because you don't want a shim falling in there
