generator burning out

my nc30 keeps frying new generator in a month any ideas

Usually if your charging systems so bad the gennys died, the RR and battery are usually long gone too.

Follow that through starting from the top and making sure your batterys fully charged before you start :)
The usual casue of the genny dying is reg/rec failure which is usually caused by an old / abused battery.
The NCXX's have a rather flimsy Reg/Rec unit, riding with the lights on all the while, short journeys etc takes it toll on the battery.
Also, as a battery ages anyway it looses the ability to take charge as quickly.
The Reg/Rec has to burn excess energy off as heat, the poorer state the battery is in the more heat the reg rec has to burn off, the general concensus is that the heat kills the reg/rec.
Now one or two things will happen, your battery will be over/under charging. Either way if left is bad, also your genny gets burned out. Under-charging is generally worse as you notice it last as the battery will keep goign for a while off the generator until its died.
Best solution after finding the problem(s) is to use a decent new battery and connect it to a smart optimising charger like an optimate/datatool at least once a week to fully renew the battery.
You can pick up a decent Varta for £20'ish.
It's usually always the battery / reg/rec that have / are killing the genny but there could be wiring shorts too so dont' neglect to fully check over the wiring system after diagnosing the rec/rec & battery.

Pull the earth off the temp gauge and it goes to the top... if yours is doing this you have a bad earth somewhere.
This might not be related to the electrical problems though, it could just be another problem!
