600 carbs on a 400 engine?

Will the carbs from a FZR600 fit onto and work with a FZR400 EXUP?

If we're talking a FZR600 3HE model carbs on a FZR400 3EN1 or 2 then they should fit but they may need different jets.
No chance you can get 400 carbs that way you know they'll work from the off.

Thanks for the response mate. Its a question on behalf of a friend and to be honest i told him the same thing. Buy some from a 400!!! He does like to do things the hard/expensive way though!!!
