Has anyone had experience on waterproof covers for my NC30. Unfortuantely my is going to have to be kept outside as we are moving. anyone with advice on keep my bike dry and warm would be appreciated!!

Whichever one you do decide on, just make sure its double skinned. Have you ever stayed in a single skinned tent? The condensation stores the water on the inside of the cover, but a double skinned one stores it between the inner and outter layer.

Probably not an option for you but our garage is out of action at the moment (dont ask) and I have set up a small gazebo over it (was about 15 quid from wilko) then a waterproof cover over the top, it doesnt take up much space and it stays dry without the cover (I just leave it on there because I have the smart charger on it and dont want that getting wet)

I would be suprised if even the more expensive covers stop all water going through, the nature of the 'breathable' fabric is that it uses surface tension to keep the water off but still allow water out, (this is at least true of the cover I have) it is waterproof but when disturbed by strong gusts of wind water can make its way through onto the bike.

Ive had an R&G cover for years, fits all my bikes and has never leaked, if i ever have to leave it on for long periods i cover the bike with a cotton sheet first.
It clips together underneth with 2 latches and even has covered openings for chains and tie downs if your transporting.

I'm thinking of buying/asking Santa for one of these:

They seem to get better reviews on Amazon than the R&G version, and they're cheaper. It would be for occasional use only.

Does anyone have any opinions on them? Also, any idea whether medium would fit an NC30? The length looks a bit short, by 85mm, I think, but otherwise it looks plenty big enough?

My mum wasn't too impressed when I suggested it.

The bike is normally parked in my garage . As I said, the cover would just be for occasional excursions.
