I've seen a few NC30 VFR's refered to as "VFR400R-L" Is just a more techy name? Or is there some differeance between it and a the regular comon VFR400R?
Tried a serch but got no joy. So any help much appreicated to cure my curiosity! Ha ha!

It's the model type.
The K models are 1989 bikes (different forks, shock etc), and I think there are L and N models which are the later spec.
Any more anyone?

Stickshift is correct.
The later models had some slight changes - you coulld adjust the preload on the forks (different caps and internals) and the rear shocks had remote reservoirs etc.
So get an '89 if you can. Then you can race it in the Post-Classic Pre-89 Juniors.

It's the information concerning the year & model of production
NC21: 1986: VFR400R-RG
NC24: 1987: VFR400R-RH
NC24: 1987: VFR400R-RHII
NC24: 1988: VFR400R-RHIII
NC30: 1989: VFR400R-K
NC30: 1990: VFR400R3-L
NC30: 1991: VFR400R3-M
I'm not sure about the NC30 years / models as there off the top of my head but the NC24/21's are correct.
