NC30 - What Oil

Hi.

What type of oil can I use in my bike, 10-40w semi-Synthetic?


I've got loads of this in my garage, Is it safe to use?

That should be fine. I use any 10w-40 semi I can get my hands on.

I change it very regularly though which I think is more important

Its brand new, it would a shame to get rid of it.

Just wanted to make sure it didn't kill my bike. :roll:

CMSMJ1: When you say regularly do you mean the 5k km regular, or are you like some of the aggressive riders who do it every 2k km or even more often?

I use Castrol Activo btw.

I'm talking every 4 months for a filter and oil change.. got to keep the moto sweet..

oil and filter change 4 times a year for me-
every 3 months cos she deserves a treat :-)

when you can go into halfords and get 5 litres of semi synth for 20 with the current discount going on, it seems illogical not to change the oil that often. i do oil changes for fun sometimes :pmsl:

by law in the UK all MOT test centers have to accept used oil
