So when the 'A' Cable breaks you can rig up the 'B' cable to open the throttle[1].mick.mh2racing wrote:Never understood why you need a cable to close the throttle. It's spring loaded so closes anyway.

Me neither I run a propper 1/5th turn HRC single cable throttle on the RVF and a NSR 250 (giving 1/5th turn) on the CBR track bike.mick.mh2racing wrote:Never understood why you need a cable to close the throttle. It's spring loaded so closes anyway.
Probably ok on a track bike with plenty of run-off and cat litter. One the road if the cable breaks it could be a different story.tanuki wrote:Me neither I run a propper 1/5th turn HRC single cable throttle on the RVF and a NSR 250 (giving 1/5th turn) on the CBR track bike.mick.mh2racing wrote:Never understood why you need a cable to close the throttle.
