Going to look at a Superfour

Looking forward to it, hopefully everything goes to plan.

The only concern I may have is that the owner has told me the left hand side rear shock has started to weep a little oil.... and he rides it on the maximum preload setting, which might mean the shock's are knackered. Of course, I won't know how bad this is until I view the bikes, but just out of interest:

I know Hagon supplies shocks for the Superfour, albeit without the piggy back reservoir.

I also have noticed Harris Performance supply Ohlins shocks for it...at over £300 a piece.

Is there anywhere else I could try? Searched Ebay, but nothing came up recently?

Yes, picked it up last weekend. The shocks have started leaking oil quite badly (I knocked the seller down on his asking price because of this, plus the front tyre was pretty bad).

I've got some Hagons to fit now - although I'm thinking only temporarily - I might as well get the standard shocks reconditioned once they're off. New tyre's also going to be fitted this weekend.

The bike's in fair condition, but I've got a bit of work planned to tidy it up somewhat - which, depending on how much of a project I make of it (and whether I have a job at the end of the month of course), may also include a respray.

Direct from Hagon.

Superb service - phoned them up, very polite chap took my call, cost £105 or so for the shocks, arrived next morning with postage included in the price.
